PS2 controller and XP

recently brought a device to hook up my PS2 controller to my pc, didn't install the software, because i've heard this is not a good idea. The pc reconises it and in the set up it everything works, but when i play fifa07 it goes t!t's up

You need to plug a second controller in the other adapter port, thatll fix it from continuously scrolling throught the menus
