I am using a PS2 gamepad adapter for PES6 and I find the reponsiveness on the button pressing is awful!!! I know it works fine on PS2 games so I'm assuming its down to the converter?!? (also cant do the "Zidane-turn" with the right analogue stick too!!)
Anyone had this problem, and more importantly, how to fix it??? (damned annoying when you are one-on-one with a keeper and tap the button to keep the shot down......and nothing happens except the ball rolls into the keepers hands!)

Are there any new drivers etc out there????

Thanks in advance....

You'll need to remove the competitor name.

My friend was just telling me how he needed new drivers for pes6 cuz of some buttons not working

I don't think there's a whole lot you can do about it. I got one of the ps2/usb converters for the last version of pro evo but somethings just never worked. I couldn't use the sticks properly for fancy turns, and whenever i pressed square to kick the ball up the pitch, my player always turned to face the sidelines and punted it out. It was incredibly annoying not being able to control the game properly, and it was the main reason i stopped playing the PC version. Nothing worse than losing online because you simply can't do certain passes etc..

Not wanting to put to much of a downer on you though! I'm sure technology has moved on and you wont have the same problems :D

I've been using the same adaptor and not noticed any problems. If you only have one controller plugged into the adapter, trying going into Device Manager and disabling one of them. I sometimes have problems in games, with characters spinning to the left constantly unless I do that.

I dont see how ****.COM is a competor do ocuk sell music cd's and movie dvd's and computer games ? :p

I agree, I have used 2 different PS2 adapters bought from that site and they both have the same problem. Seems to me that there is a microsecond of lag that makes it really hard to do intricate joypad movements. It's the same with 2d fighting games, I found it almost impossible to use the PS2 adapters to do the 'hadoken' and 'shoryuken' type moves. It's ok for certain types of game where microscopic joypad movements don't matter so much, but for accurate control it leaves something to be desired.

I got a new PC joypad (saitek p990) and i get this too? thought it was just the game.

Most noticeable in the menu's :(

I used to play in a pc pro evo ladder online for pro4 & 5 and the general consensus of opinion was that the adapter from the company you're on about is a load of rubbish. It doesn't use the two-stage button press that the dualshock has and generally is slow and unresponsive. I got myself a Titanium S-joy converter, was hard to get hold of but it's much better.
