PS2 setup effecting performance? (or am I too used to PS3?)

It doesn't matter if you own the game, emulation is a grey area because it enables people to download and play games of consoles that they do not own on their PC and that's why the mods don't like people discussing it, so I'm not going to get suspended just because you can't be arsed to use a search engine when you've been told twice that it's not allowed to be discussed.

I didn't realise there was ps2 emulation, chill out.

edit: google sorted me out, forum police stand down no riots here!

Ah, it's such a shame that FF12 has the problems reported above. It's such a great game (that I've played so far). If only it had been a PS3 game it would have completely outdone the shambles of FF13.

Thanks for all the advice - I'll certainly check to see which cable I'm using (don't remember off the top of my head) and check the RGB support.

I think though generally it's a combination of some bad parts of FF12 combined with shock from PS3 HD play.
Still, I'm loving re-playing some of my PS2 games :)

I don't think the PS2 looks good on any LCD (even with the better games) so I have it hooked up to a rather large 22" widescreen CRT TV and it's a lot better, but only because of the resolution.

I have a component cable for when it's hooked up to LCDs and it improves textures and sharpness, but it's still not as good as CRT.
