God hadn't realised there were so many of these! The GF is currently hooked on TH:Underground, but near the end, so I'm gonna pick her up another one. What would you guys recommend as one that's very similar to this? Oh and it must have 2 player split screen too so I can continue to show her how it's done :D

I've done a search and it looks like Skate is better, but a little less arcadey? If that's the case it's not really what she'd be looking for I think.

Skate is the best, but its not arcadey, also its not on PS2.

Order of brilliance of last gen Tony Hawk games (in my opinion of course)

Tony Hawk 4
Tony Hawk 2
Tony Hawk 3
Tony Hawk Underground 2
Tony Hawk Underground
Tony Hawk 1
Tony Hawk American Wasteland (avoid)

Im not going to comment on project 8 because I've only played it on 360, and I think the PS2 version is a very different game.

go for tony hawks 3+4
shold be nice and cheap now
and they are simplistic and cool if she likes that kind of thing

skate is a bit serious if she is a TH fan

Cool, thanks sounds good! Probably go for 3, 4 or maybe UG2. Yeah nothing too serious, just for fun really.

Tony Hawks 2 on Dreamcast is the best of the series by far. TH3 barely managed to reach the same heights of its predecessor, then it went gradually downhill from there.

2 was awsome on the ps1 enjoyed it loads with mates on mp. It had so many cool little easter eggs. Tony hawks 4 was also enjoyable good career, the first underground was differernt and fun but the 2nd one was too similar to jackass.

Tony Hawk 3 is the one I spent most time playing, I'm tempted to buy a PS2 and get some of the games again for hours of fun. Are the PS1 games compatible with PS2?

tony hawks 3 or 4. both absolutely amazing. 4 is my personal favourite.
would avoid any of the ones from underground 2 onwards, theyre terrible.

Project 8 wasnt too bad tbf, some of the sick achievements were pretty ridicuolous though. Then skate came along and Ill never be able to go back to Tony Hawks. X = ollie lol. Tony Hawks 1-4 were awesome but they went down hill after imo. The school level on the first 1 and San Fransico were seriously awesome!

It was only from UG2 that things got silly. 3 was basically 2.5. 4 got rid of the time limits and was just damn good, possibly the most challenging one (not including project 8) Underground was a great idea and the story mode was fun it was just far too short.
