PS2 wheel with pc.

Might work but then you will probably have no force feedback and no support for the wheel in most games so you won't be able to use it very well.

My wheel is a logic 3 top drive gt 2

There it is there

As murray said, if its got vibration or force feedback, expect those features to not work when you use it on your pc.

I would imagine windows will detect it as a game controller not a steering wheel. Turning the wheel should work it will be detected as a analogue stick. The pedals should also work this might be detected as a joystick throttle.

If the other buttons will work is anyones guess.

Wouldn't waste your time with the thrustmaster...

I would be looking at a Driving Force GT. Force feedback on a similar level to the higher up G27 with only slight inferior pedals.

However, it all depends on what games you plan on using it with?

i have the driving force gt wheel, the force feedback can be adjusted from, not much feedback, to having sore arms after an hour, depends how you want it, just set it in the game settings, i use it on racedriver grid, dirt 2/3, works fantastic

You could try your luck by getting one of the Mayflash branded PS2-to-USB adaptors.

They support PS2 controllers, racing wheels, dance mats and with vibration and force feedback support.

While I will admit that I don't have a PS2 racing wheel to test it out myself, I do have the Super Joy Box 5 Pro and my PS2 gamepads work perfectly fine on Windows 7 x64. These adapters can be had for under £10 so it is a cheap option to try out.
