PS2 wheel with pc.

Whats force feedback what does it do?

Force feedback wheels have motors inside them that replicate the feel of real driving (sort of)

So for example if you run over the curbs on a track, the wheel will vibrate and shake and when you crash, the wheel might jolt out your hands

If you go a bit too quick into a corner and understeer, the wheel will go light. Obviously some games do a better job at force feedback, but its great to have and adds a bit of realism

rather than it jolting out your hands, the driving force gt can sometimes hurt your arms with how forceful it can be, dont turn it up to full people, keep the fun to a safe level! lol:D

I didn't actually mean the wheel coming out my hands (Had a few beers :p) But I know what you mean about the force they can produce. If I turn my G25 up too much its really not fun!

i miss the g25 so much, the only downside to my wheel is my gearstick is on the wrong side and its not detachable, plus its more like a triptronic one, forwards and back, the g25 has an actual proper gear selection mode, and can be put either side

I had a DFGT as my last wheel and thought it was brilliant. Only reason I got a G25 was I found a cheap one in good nick. The force feedback isn't that much different imo! The shifter did take some getting used to mind you.

we had the g25 set up in the pc shop i work in for about 8 weeks, i had the lap records on racedriver grid for the shop staff, before some dude bought the pc it was set up on with the wheel, and never used the wheel, as he had left the power supply for it in the shop, this was about a year and a half ago, he bought it for his son, who im pretty sure didnt end up even using the pc, the fella had a lot of money on him when he paid for the pc, probably about 3 grand in his wallet,so more money than sense lol i wish he had brought the wheel back so i coulda bought it at cost.
