PS3 - 2.3 Firmware is up !!!! GO GO GO.....................

Don't get too happy, it's only the new store and it's fubard at the mo. I get loads of missing image logos :\
 
Installed, as I thought, store is amazing, very fluid, pure joy to use, I definitely rate this over the 360 store now, from reading the 2.3 firmware thread on the gaf apparently some people are not able to browse the store atm, personally I can browse the store fine but like above I am also having issue with missing thumbnails for the games which makes it a little hard to navigate intuitively, hopefully that will be fixed soon.

No, theres DTS HD as well which is pretty awesome, I hope they fix this soon.

Store is much better, although a few things seem broken just at the minute.

Glad to see they have included a button on the pad for going back a level, rather than having to scroll to the bottom of each page :)

Bah, I even read the online manual and I'm sure I didn't see that you could do that.

im at work atm so im unable to do anything, has anyone checked the USA store as they normally get surprises before we do anyway.

ill be downloading when i get home but atm im stuck at work till 1900
 
It seems the store in fact doesn't cache the images on the hard drive, i've just been browsing around pages, giving each one a few mins to fully load up so i wouldn't have to in the future. Quit out, loaded it back up, and it's having to re-download all the images again.

While the layout is better on this one, the old PS Store was much faster, hopefully in a day or so things will speed up.
 
Anybody tried the SSHD add-on?
I've grabbed it and installed, but it's not done anything?!

Btw, my store is loading up fine, no broken thumbnails or anything, bit slow, but other than that it's spanky.


edit: Sorted the SSHD issue, if you get this problem, reboot your PS3 and load up SSHD again, it should then install the update.
