Thats a pretty clueless comment tbf! Its not all down to processing power! Theyre are 2 completely different technologies! Its near impossible to get every single emotion engine coded PS2 game (which is a huge libray!) to be emulated by a completely different multi spu processor !!

From an architecture viewpoint the Cell probably isn't that best suited for intense emulation. With just a single PowerPC core and 6 of the SPU cores (In the PS3 one of the 8 SPUs is disabled, and another reserved the OS) it's going to be a very hard task to handle all the aspects involved with emulation - although the SPU's are fast, they are only really suited for number crunching, with very limited memory resources and all sitting on an internal ring bus inside the Cell.

The 360's Xenon CPU on the otherhand is better for emulation. With three full Power-PC cores, each with two hardware threads, all the individual emulation tasks can be split up and have a full processor thread with access to all the systems resources. And without any of the original xbox chips embedded in the 360 design it does a good job of emulating the games that are supported, but as it's a full software approach it does seem to be a slow job of getting more and more exact an emulation to get more titles running correctly.

There was 5 other games to chose from in the package but they was all out so i had to choose that one. As its still wrapped could i go in there now and ask to exchange it for another one in the deal? thanks

Why don't you sell it to the brother in this thread, or your brother in real life? They both sound like they want it more than you do, based on your other thread.
