GT3 and GT4, R-Type Final and the SSX games work pretty please?
ic1male said:Are there loads of PS2 games that work? Websense is blocking the PS website here at work?
I need my ICO and Shadow of the Colossus fix.

Final Fantasy 7 doesnt work at all
It's wierd that some games that are like 500 years old work, yet fairly recent ones dont work at all
philds said:Is it only me who sees that PS2 games running on the PS3 hardware in emulation instead of the older Emotion Engine (remember Sony marketing says PS3 is 40 times more powerful than PS2) as a big benefit? The only problem would be the support as we see in the compatability list, at launch there are a lot of games listed as problematic or just not listed at all. As this compatability gets better we can but only benefit from the PS3 increasing framerates and who knows what else they will add in newer firmwares for PS2 game emulation.
If you look at the PSP, it's also emulating PS1 games and does it very very well.

KNiVES said:Erm.... 'entire Playstation library, and the majority of the Playstation 2 library' ring a bell? They got the second bit right, but if they can't even get FFVII working right, then that's not exactly the 'entire library' is it >_>
To have the best experience when playing your PlayStation®2 titles, we recommend that:
You avoid connecting any non-essential USB peripherals to your PS3
You avoid the use of "60Hz" and network modes (which may experience noticeable graphical corruption not present in the main game)
You should skip optional FMV sequences (a small number of games have graphical corruption in one or more video sequences).
A maximum of seven players can play (non-network) multiplayer PS2 games.
