17who cares, are you 12?
true, but arguing is sometimes quite fun, as im enjoying this![]()
ye i see what you mean, its just that iv had no problems with replacing my gpu and RAM.You've missed the point. Something breaks, you get the whole unit replaced. If a GPU breaks, you have to troubleshoot, Wait for new card, install new drivers ect. I'd take a PC anyday though.
were did i say that, also pc is future proof, plus games in the future are no doubt going to be to high reqiurements for ps3 soon anyway, just look at crysis(developt about 2-3 yrs ago.
true very true, but sometimes you just dont feel in the mood for games. Not really. it's a moot argument they are all as good as each other in different respects, you could actually be using this time to play the platform you love, instead of arguing with strangers on the Internet.
Rich
i thought that at first, yet u sit closer to a pc screen than a tvAm I missing something here?
How is it fair to compare a 22" monitor with a 37" TV? What kind of arguement is that?
That's like saying my mansion cost more than a cardboard box![]()
i thought that at first, yet u sit closer to a pc screen than a tv(see the logic?)
lifespan- is self explanitary, ur thinking to much into this, how long they both lastYou asked for which is better in terms of:
Lifespan: Do you think the PC is the same PC if you have to change from single core to Dual core\Quad core, New mobo, More Ram and new Graphics card to run a game?
The comparison was against the PS3, Which once it's bought, doesnt need upgrading.
Money: You think its better to constantly upgrade a PC to keep on playing current games during its life time? It's much more cost efficient to buy a PS3 at £250 with no upgrades required.
heat: The PS3 gets hot, The PC get's hot. The fan is completely capable of dispersing the heat.
playing times in a row: Differs person to person
graphics: PC is better obviously, dependant on GFX card though
compatibility: PS3 plays PS3 games, and PS1 games. PC plays PC games, and emulates, also can have pretty much any Drive you want to put in it, at extra cost again.
gameplay: depends on the game, Strategy games belong on PC and i cant play them on consoles, PS3 lacks a modding scene, which is a shame, but understandable.
and exlusive game titles: Loads on PS3, Loads on 360, Loads on PC.
ok you win that oneYou don't have to
That's surely down to personal preference and you can play a PS3 on a monitor you know.
heat-ps3 overheated playing crysis in tests
ok you win that one, but u still have to buy a monitor if u dont have a pc
lifespan- is self explanitary, ur thinking to much into this, how long they both last
heat-ps3 overheated playing crysis in tests also u can mod and place more fans on a pc etc
Yes, And changing the PCs hardware means it hasnt lasted surely. Just cos its the same case doesnt make it the same PC.
So? The PS3 copes with the heat thats produced playing PS3 games, which is surely the point. Can you link to the crysis test as i've never seen this?
