So for Christmas i am thinking of treating myself to a nice ps3 as all my friends have one and im intrigued by the games. But firstly should i get a 40gb or 60gb? I found a deal from a well known gameing website a 40gb model with assassins creed (a game i really want) and ghost recon and with a 10% student discount comes out at £300. Or i could splash out a little bit more on a 60gb model with resistance, motorstorm(2 games all my friends have) assassins creed and Pro evo 2008 Another game i like but no to fussed if i dnt have it this is £400 but comes out at £360.
So opinions please and no i don't want a 360 for varies reasons
Thanks Pat

on hotukdeals.com there is a deal for the 60gig one with 2 games i think for around £300 including student discount. you might want to check that out

Id personally go for the 60gb mate, if you’re gonna spend that much you may as well go the little extra. Plus you’ll get the obvious extra storage as well as more usb ports, card reader and ps2 compatibility. :)

Lol i know ull say ps3s don't have exclusive games but tbh i want one as im still on my ps3 and some games in the future look great like timesplitter4 and gta4. So which is a better deal.

Yea just ignore the 360 fanny boys, they dunno what theyre on about. :p

Oh and the 60gb is defiantly the better deal.

Yh thats what i was thinking even though they have stopped making them and instead bringing out a 80gb version

What is with your random posts recently
The guy who plays Ricky Gervais's character in The Office USA (Steve Carrell) says it a lot.

Seems to be the only one able to spam random crap and get away with it, so he's not going to stop is he?
You are free to report the posts to the moderator's if you wish rather than commenting here, as me "getting away with it" has clearly bothered you from your comment.

To me the real Spam is people who go into every thread to point out:
1) 360's break, don't buy one.
2) PS3's have no games, don't buy one.

But I appreciate these comments can be "helpful" so may not be considered as "Spammy" as my posts.

I'm holding out in hope of £299 bundle deals with a couple of games for the 40GB version in time for xmas.
I don't need BC or the addtional USB ports and I'd rather another 50 quid in my wallet than a retailers till.
Otherwise I'll wait and see what happens pricewise in the new year.
