Ps3 dead?

So I've had my PS3 lest than a month and went to turn it on today and the power LED by the on switch went green briefly then completely dead (not even red)

Could I be missing anything obvious or is it dead, dead and time for a replacement?

Typical really, my launch 360 lasted for over 3 years and my slim ps3 dies this quickly

Does it turn orange/yellow?

because if it does, then you have the infamous YLOD (Yellow Light of Death). But it has to turn orange :rolleyes:

If not, just check that all power cables are fitted and stuff.

None of that. Light is red when power cable is plugged in but console not turned on, light turns briefly green when I turn it on then goes dead almost immediately. Then can't try again, but if I unplug it and try again in a while it does the same thing again :confused:

You said its under warranty, do what was said above. Although it ain't YLOD :confused:

There is one plus it wasnt YLOD you got some sort of special failure
