PS3 Dev fired...

Yeah, they had all the 360 games running on G5's at the games shows even up to just a couple of months before release.

Size of the dev kit means nada really.

Serves him right - surprised he didnt realise with the secrecy inherent in the industry that he would be fired for saying ANYTHING not sanctioned by Sony

Size of dev kits is irrelevant, doesnt matter a jot but just out of interest who would take a ps3 thats gaurenteed not to overheat etc etc that looks like the present design over an xbox 360 ( that has supposedly several major design faults like the overheating for one)

I would - even though I have a 360 and think its reasonable but not brilliant myself

Its not nice for anyone to lose their job, but if anyone of my staff talked about my company in a negative tone on a public blog I would probably take the same action, or at the very least issue a written warning. Its a learning experience for the guy, but he's obviously talented so its not like the end of his career or anything.
