Does anyone know if the PS3 entitlements feature is live yet?

From what i read a while ago you get trophies or something to put in your apartment in home? Anyone know anything more about it? Is there a score aswel, similar to the 360?

As much as a lot of people dislike achievements, ive found it a real motivation to play lately.

It's a part of home but won't be retroactive and none of the latest games in development with the exception of Killzone 2 supports it as far as I know, unless patched.

So it's pretty pointless already.

I'm sure they'll patch it so older games will be supported.

Why are you such a pessimist towards Sony?

Who said anything about being a pessimist? Do you realize how many PS3 games will be released before Home finally makes it to consoles, as well as the gargantuan work involved for the developers to patch them all up? If Sony made it mandatory, there would be uproar as developers are forced to backtrack to their released projects and add entitlements. This is the difference between Sony and Microsoft, achievements are a part and parcel of 360 development, but it is very late for Sony, Home will be released roughly a year and a half into the PS3's life cycle and the amount of games that would need to be reworked is too much. Especially for developers who are busy on projects and had released several games already.

I am not pessimist, I say it as it is. If my sentiments towards Sony seems more harsh than they are towards MS and Nintendo, then gee, maybe there is actually a reason for that.

Achievements are brilliant, genius idea for the 360 if you ask me. I only have around 6500GS but its addictive trying to suck every last point out of certain games.
