PS3 error 80023017

Just a quickie.

Anyone else getting this error when accessing Account Management ?
(also I now get a message saying that the PSN Store is not available in my region )

PSN was down for maintenenace yesterday, it should work now.

I had issues updating the other day (first time I've ever owned or used a PS3) and it kept failing so I google'd it and turned off Media Manager (I think it was called) it then worked but should it be left off or enabled again?

If you mean the Media Server whatsits then you only need it if you are sharing video/photos/music from your PC. Otherwise turn it off.
