PS3 exclusives that are worth owning????

I dont really think they are similar wedgie. I couldnt get into Ninja Gaiden on the xbox, but i bought the ps3 one and found it easier, and really enjoyed it. God of War did have a very nice flow to it that meant you rarely were scratching your head, while Ninja Gaiden did tend to leave you puzzling about a bit sometimes.
Well yes they both have their nuances, but they are cut from the same cloth.

Good point. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is probably the best game on the PS3. It's a shame the second one is a 360 exclusive though.

I'm not too excited about NG2, Devil May Cry 4 on the other hand is looking great, especially the scale of some of the Bosses.

I'm sure NG2 will be great too though.

A lot of people like Ratchet and Clank, so I suppose I shouldn't disregard it, however for me it was by far the biggest letdown of 2007 for me.

I didn't follow any of the hype coming up to the game so it hasn't been a let down for me.

Its brilliant fun and looks gorgeous.

A definate must have if you like platformers.

Formula 1 Championship Edition if your into that sort of thing. Latest patch added force feedback support for wheels and dual shock 3 support. Online is fun too.

As a new PS3 owner, thanks for the handy posts :)
I'll be grabbing a copy of motorstom from the auction place as soon as the missus lets me spend some more cash.
To the OP: If you like FPS games I can highly recommend RFOM.
It's only my first day of playing it but I am absolutley loving it.

Oooo, I didn't realise it can also be played online as well!
I can't wait for this to arrive, I've been after a decent F1 game since Geoff Crammond stopped doing them on the PC.

I was really into the F1GP series on PC too and F1CE on PS3 didn't let me down - thoroughly enjoyed it ;)

No, I just thought it was incredibly boring, repetative, un-original and well.. just not that good. It offered absolutely nothing over platform games of over a decade ago bar graphics (which I thought were over-hyped, but still look good), but I would get more from going and playing Mario64 now than R&C now, which shouldn't be the case.

I was just expecting something a bit more original or entertaining, but so far it's just dull. I've been waiting for it for bloody ages too as the Xbox360 is utter **** for 3D platform games of this type.

I could say that about most FPS nowerdays too. It's a shame really.

Just interested if you played the other Ratchet games ? As I think some people who are not used to the R+C series off games mistake this game for a true platformer game. It is and its not a platform game, its more of a shooter than a platform game IMO nothing like Mario ( which is good IMO). How far did you get with the game? did you finish it? As i never try and pass judgement on a game until ive finished it unless i dislike it so much i cant be bothered to lol ( sounds like you fell into this one).

To the OP as exclusives go, most of them have been mentioned on here but folklore is another game that has mixed reviews if you like action adventure games cross with an RPG then it might be worth a go. It also uses the sixiaxis in a unique and very well implemented way, Inoshishi has been playing it recently so he is better informed on the game than me. You could also try Singstar, everyone loves Karaoke, especially good for drunk Christmas/ News years parties, and Xfactor practice!

Having girly mates who wont go out till afterwards lol is a contributing factor :o

Wait, you have a life?
You are not allowed a life. Repeat the following over and over in your head:
'My life is gaming' :)
That's what the shrink said to me and it's worked.
Although he didn't tell me a few nights down the pub was more expensive than forking out for consoles and games

Folklore is fantastic so far, I didn't want to mention it as a definite 'must buy' as i'm only 3-4hrs into it yet. CoD4 keeps getting in the way of completing this! :(
