PS3 FarCry2 Performance Issues?

Has anyone ever had any performance issues playing FarCry2 on the PS3?

I have just purchased a LG M2762D (1080p but NOT 100Hz) 26" TV which is connected to my PS3 via HDMI. However, during play if I pan right or left, 'slowly' I get some screen tearing as I pan? I dont get any issues with MWF2.

Anyone else had this, know what it might be, how to fix?

Could be just an issue with the game. Quite a lot of games on the consoles suffer from screen tearing.

Most ps3 games I have played have vsync and have no tearing.
I just played borderlands on pc and the screentear was awful, even though windows had vsync on (no option in-game).

It is just the game, your ps3 is ok.

Yep, thought you were going to mention the atrocious frames per second issues too, or the blocky crosshairs/hud, or the washed out colors, etc etc. When I played it at one of my friends', it doesn't resemble the PC version at all.
