PS3 HDMI cable...

I noticed theres a lot of HDMI cables for the PS3, does it really matter what one is chosen, some boast to have better quality of picture or what not, but for example does the 4 quid one match the 15 quid one etc. Gold plated what not.

If so can anyone recommend me a cable that would be best? My tv is a 40" sony bravia, 1080p. Also have a full sony surround sound system if that matters?

Its a digital cable, assuming its not stupidly long then it makes zero diffrence.

Just about £5-10 hdmi cable will do, some of the really cheap ones may suffer a bit with build quality but as HDMI is a digital signal an expensive super shielded cable is not required.

They did a test on the gadget show. Exactly the same setup just one had a £20 HDMI cable and the other had a £120 cable. Picture quality was the same, so no need to spend a lot on your cable

my hdmi cable cost me a massive 99p from the bay, my mate bought one for about 60 quid and was adamant it was better, so while he was out the room I swapped his cable for my cheap one and he didnt notice till I told him

^Haha. Well I bought one for a fiver, gold plated on each end and boasts no interference etc and is highly rated. Cheers.
