PS3 headset help

I'm not sure, looked on google but the answer doesn't seem to be clear. Can anyone help??

You can use any Bluetooth Headset (although some are more compatible than others) or you can use any USB Plug and Play Headset/Microphone. The type that install in Windows without any drivers (in simple terms). I think some people on this forum (and 1 person I know) use some Logitech ones, but I don't know the exact model number.

Can you use any USB headphone and mic ?? or does it have to be a certain type??

Anyone recommend me one??

Most USB headsets ive used on a PS3 work first time with no issue's just have to be set up in the XMB. I use a Skype one got it from a catalogue shop for £20 its works well and is comfortable, could get on with a BT headset it kept falling off my ear.

Anyone help witht he streaming of the music at all?

Hi mate install a program called tveristy on your pc :) your ps3 can see it and you can assess all photos, videos, and music folders that you added :)

No it doesnt, im using a Logitech USB headset and it come through pretty much as clear as skype.

well as long as the usb headset doesnt require drivers, etc

bluetooth headset can be had for a tenner these days, decent ones too, from sony ericsson, etc

bluetooth headsets are wireless and small, but not very loud

usb headsets have a wire, can be big, but are louder

both have advantages and disadvantages, your better off with bluetooth, because all modern bluetooth headsets are compatible, whereas not all usb headsets are

Does the VIOP system on games have a push to talk feature? I mean people will be angry if all they can hear are my speakers
