Had the same problem with mine, put the disc in and it would not move but got the spinning symbol in the top right of the screen. Guy said I had to do a full format until I mention the symbol was spinning but the disc wasn't. Got a new one 3 days later to my door

Great service considering I had to send my 360 back when it RROD on me. And that took 10days

Yep, apparently they have plenty of stock to cover plus they'll be fixing broken ps3s and using them.

Sony really do make some shoddy products.
Over the past 10 years i've had 2x Sony TVs which developed faults, and a sony VCR and DVD player which both broke after about a year.

Now it's Samsung all the way...no problems

If so, didn't sony change the manufacturer for these?
