PS3 Launch news at midnight

It has been expected to be on either Thursday or Friday anyway, so midnight tonight makes sense. According to sources 'close to Sony'. I would provide a link/source, but its only 9 hours away so we'll find out soon enough.

Well, I guess we'll be getting a bit more news other than 'Release in March'

Hopefully something like a firm date, maybe sometime in September ;)
 
Am I right in saying the £425 is the 60Gb model and we are not getting the 20Gb according to the rumour mill?
 
You cant blame Sony for not being consistant.

Late on releasing the console.
Late on the due announcement.

Gotta see the fun side of it, now 12 Oclock is that GMT or European time? ;)

Yep i think we are getting 20GB after launch dont know why though i mean if 60GB and 20GB can release in USA and Japan together why not Europe or UK. :/

They list both consoles as available in UK on the official PS3 website but only 60Gb available in ireland - Hmmm, so much conflicting info! I guess we will see tomorrow then.
 
Its going to say they are not shiping the PS3 to UK retailers as they are going to put them straight on Ebay for £500 for the 60GB and leave people bid on them as that is what is going to happen to them anyway.... honest im not telling porkies :p

I've lost interest in PS3 to be honest, i'll read what has been said at 12am but wont stay up or switch on pc at that time just to read it, i'll read it from some other site which i look at now and then for any news when ever i feel like it.

Yeah that's bound to happen, although I think that anyone who does buy one to try and make a profit will be sorely dissapointed as supply will not be that bad. Sony recon they are in full production and producing a million units a month and at the current unit price they aint gonna sell a million a month! People selling Wii's on auction sites are still making money as Nintendo are struggling to keep up supply, as whilst they knew it would be succesfull they just didn't realise it would be this succesfull.
 
I really think people who do this are scam artists - they arent even adding value like some legitimate resellers, its just flogging exactly what they get sent.

I am all for people making money thru selling on 2nd hand items, but not for more than its going brand new just to rip people off
 
If it was £600 that's twice the US price. I know we usually get shafted but I can't imagine it being that much.
