PS3 MediaServer can’t see my PS3 via Wireless Access Point

Hi,

I’ve currently got my PC connected to a router via Ethernet cable and in order to stream to my PS3 I bought a Asus PCE-N10 Wireless Adapter (CAT5 to the PS3 from the router isn’t an option before you ask). I set that up as a Wireless Access Point and the PS3 connects to it no problem. However I can’t get PS3 MediaServer to detect the PS3.

I’ve done some Googling about the problem, have made sure that the wired and wireless connections are both on the same subnet but apart from checking that I’m stumped. I also made sure that on the genereal configuration tab I have chosen the correct network card to use (the wireless one) and changed the port to 6001 as suggested in their info Wiki.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Have you tried disabling the firewall to see if they're an issue (software and harder firewalls) as they disrupted mine... Also had to restart media software, and ps3 after this was done.
