Hey chaps,

Got a question,Now ive not had my PS3 all that long maybe a couple of weeks but was wondering...now i know the Internal memory cards on the PS3 are used to store Playstation and Playstation 2 data.
It allows me to create one for either PS2 or PS2,But as far as im aware my model of PS3 will not play PS2 or PS1 games?

I have a PS3 Slim 160GB.

So whats the point in having this utility on the 160gb version if it wont play PS2/PS1 Games?

All the PS3 models play PS1 games. You're right about the PS2 though. Don't know why they don't just make this option disappear on the models that support PS2, to avoid confusion!

Do the PS2 games available on the PSN Store not require a virtual PS2 memory card?

I find it quite handy with a little device I brought off eBay, I can download PS2 saves from the net and put them onto my PS2 memory cards. I'd imagine you would need the PS2 memory card option for the small amount of PS2 games on the PSN.
