PS3 Mouse / Keyboard for game

Why spend time practising with a pad when you can just buy your way into being as good as everyone else.

With the aim assist offered by pads, using a M+K converter is cheating. If you don't want to play on a unified platform like everyone else on the console, use a PC.

Well I am picking up the PS3 later and as the wife is out tonight i am going to give it a bash. Whether or not evolution will catch up with me and give me two thumbs :D I will have to wait and see.....but in the meantime I will enjoy probably getting my backside kicked.

This is why i dont like playing on a console. Prefer to use M+K... I've tried so many times to use a control pad on soo many games but i epicly fail. Only thing i can use it on, is Pro Evo lol.

But yea, if console do decide to allow M+K one day then i'll consider buying a console till then, i'll stick to Pc gaming which imo is a lot better :P

bear in mind all these mouse/keyboard adapters do is emulate the controller movement. It's as close to a PC as you're going to get without full mouse/keyboard support in games, but it's not exactly the same as a PC.

Well i didnt get a chance last night to try out any games as my youngest decided she didnt want to go to bed but I did turn it all on and tried out the internet and set myself up on the PS network. Whether I become an expert with a pad on games or not I am definitely connecting a keyboard and mouse up to use the net etc or things like that as its a mare with the pad - call me a cheat on that one

ps: when i mean the net i mean browsing etc not gaming

Those devices are cheating as far as I am concerned, by a pc if you want m/k.

I enjoy playing my ps3 when not on pc yes I suck but its only a game ffs.

Indeed.

"I want to play FPS but all my friends play on the PC, but im terrible because i only played with a pad all my life, some might see it as cheating but me using anti-recoil and aim assist is okay because i need it to enjoy the game"

The only difference between a M/KB adapter and the above scenario is: One is easier to detect then the other.

-edit-
Its pretty much the reason i dont play FPS games on the 360 anymore, sure its not 'amazingly wide spread' but its common enough for 1 player pretty much every game on reach / Bops / MW2 to be using one, and the advantage they have is just phenomenal.

You'll be alright. I use a Joypad for console gaming and a Mouse and Keyboard for most PC games, sometimes a Joypad for certain games. You soon adjust to it.
