PS3 Network link?

This may be a stupid question but can I have two modems running in the same house?

My query is that I am getting a PS3 and cant run a cable through the house to the livingroom (Or floor <----Married

) so if wireless is bad could I setup another modem that lives down stairs in the livingroom and just run a direct line to PS3? So I have one in my computer and one down stairs.

Other options would be appreciated!

Yeah that was an option but i wanted to try and do it with what I have first without spending money.

You cant have two modems if thats what your asking...

Homeplugs sound the best option to me...

you can only have one ADSL modem plugged into a house.

You could have a virgin cable modem, and an ADSL one with separate routers. But not 2 ADSL ones in the same phone number.

Depending on your hardware, wireless doesn't have to be bad...

So my only option is to either use wireless or move the modem down stairs when I want to use and run off a different socket?
