The power button and eject button are also heat-sensitive, so they are activated by the touch of your finger. Just like any other button...
 
I wont be buying one, but I think it looks ugly as hell, hopefully there will be a "slim" PS3 like there was a PS2. Glad the controler is pretty much identical to the PS2 one though, if it aint broke dont fix it.

That’s defiantly up for debate. This was one thing I really hoped they would change.

I always forget just how huge the original PS2 was after having my slim for the last year or two. The Ps3 design seems to be growing on my, I kind of like it in this shots.
 
So ignoring the fact that it's mainly curved, will it get slagged as much as the original Xbox? Especially if it is in fact heaver, as it's currently being reported as.

I really don't get Sony's console design anymore.

I thought the original PS2 looked out of date, and the PS3 doesn't exactly scream "Quality" at me either.

They should have just kept it simple, something that will fit in with your other equipment.

But it IS broken :confused: . The ps2 pad is rough compared to bthe xbox controllers, and is completely obliterated by the 360 controller. They're to small, uncomfortable and the analogue stick position is all wrong.

Another reason for the stupid price? :p

I agree, the control is awful now I've felt the light of the 360 control, hell, even the rather large original xbox control was better imo, which was then beaten by the small version of it.
 
Its just a PS2 with blu ray, same pad, same design, same crap about CELL etc. same rubbish about developers not knowing what online stuff there is for the PS3 and same PAD wtf
 
It's a bit big isn't it? It's bigger than the original X-Box in every way, longer, wider and thicker :eek:

Remember all the jokes about the xbox size and the photoshopped images of it being carried by monster trucks? :D
