ps3 on smaller lcd

Maybe the smaller screen has a better scaler for 720p games making the IQ better?

I find the IQ on my Sony 40W2000 a lot better than on a mates 46" Sharp LCD, I can see aliasing on his screen I don't see on mine.

Depends on the screen really, plasmas can handle the lower res up to a much higher size I find.

Even my PS2 looks brilliant on my 42".

Love plaing on my 46" tele more than my 28" monitor (or the 22" when I had that), but it's probably mostly down to the fact that it means I am then playing while on sofa rather than chair.

Hmmm, as I hardly ever use the pc any more, perhaps I might stick my 17" monitor on there and move my 28" to the bedroom - then I wouldn't have to get out of bed for ages on the weekends

A smaller screen that supports 1080p is always going to look crisper. Maybe it's more noticable on LCD screens.

Most games don't even render at 1080P so that's not really a valid argument.

Yeah true. That just means they'll look even worse on a large screen.

I went from a 37" LG to a 32" Bravia (both LCD), the Bravia looked better than the old 37" but my 42" plasma trumps both.

I don't agree with that at all, I had a full HD 42 inch Panasonic "Plasma" and made the jump to a full HD Pioneer "Plasma" and the jump in PQ was more than noticeable :eek:

I have my 360 via a 28" 1080p lcd monitor and it looks miles better than my old 32" lcd tv at 1366x768.
