So that makes the PS3 better now does it.. dont think so! I will probably cancel my preorder. Any man and his dog could get hold of one on launch.
 
Aye looks like there gonna be easy to get hold of, my interest in a ps3 is zero at the moment so that fits me into 4, and more than happy with my 360 :)
 
I'm a 3 and 5 as well, pre ordered every console for launch since the Dreamcast (PS2, Gamecube, 360, Wii) but got no interest spending £425 to play 75% 360 ports.

When it comes down to £300-350 (which will be Christmas at the latest imo) I might be more interested.

With a bit of luck this launch will bomb and might give Sony the kick up the **** they deserve and maybe they won't treat Europe with such contempt in the future. Taking the hardware emulation out to save them money while at the same time charging the UK more than anywhere in the world just about sums them up, thanks very much Sony...

Personally I think MS should have built in the HD DVD drive as the add on is an eye sore IMO, but not everybody who buys a 360 wants the HD DVD player do they? Where as with the PS3 people have to pay the high price due to Blu Ray being standard.

Although this is a bonus for most (myself included) as Blu Ray players are priced at £800+ AFAIK.
Basically they both have their pros and cons, so don't use that as your argument because it's just stupid!
 
I have a PS3 still on pre-order, however I'm considering cancelling this order now as I don't even have enough money to pay for it before I would eBay it, so I'll have to miss out on a little bit of profit unfortunately.

Stupid argument. I don't need a HD-DVD player, so actually my console was £280, cheaper than the PS3... yeah thought so. :rolleyes:
 
I think ill go and pick one up a few days after release!

Dont get paid till the 25th! :p

Managed it with a Wii, lets hope my luck lasts!

I pre-ordered one today I'm 117th on the list and guaranteed a console on launch day so I can't really see there been a shortage so I doubt you'll be able to make any profit on it. I've got a load of stuff I can trade in and I quiet fancy a Blue-ray player so I thought to hell with it and got one. I'm not half as excited about the ps3 launch as I was for the 360, still it's a cool toy to play with :p
 
I'm glad I chose the 360 over waiting for the PS3, only a handful of people who I have spoken to about it are keen on it and can't wait for the launch.

The majority are in the same mindset as myself, Sony have done too little a LOT TOO LATE I'm affraid and are asking a awful lot for what is mostly already available in the form of the Xbox 360.

I was really hesitant about my purchase of the 360 as I have always been a PC gamer but I have to say I'm very pleased indeed :D

No PS3 for me.

pre ordered ps3,number one on list
i've traded my oblivion and ds lite in towards it, which i hardly go on since zelda on ds has been delayed and oblivion is better on ps3
probably a good time to trade in my 360 aswell (maybe)
so i'm happy
 
I pre-ordered one on Amazons first day.

Anyone expecting to sell theirs for a profit on release is stupid. I very much doubt there will be any profit to be made when there are still plenty of pre-orders left in the shops.
 
I agree chris, the only reasonable argument ive seen to that is that under distance regulations they could just return the console for a free refund thereby risking only the postage nessecery to do so :/
