PS3 or PC

I found that MoH Airborne had a very satisfying thump to the rumble when you fired off a shot which I really liked, however I still got that for PC because it didn't out weigh the enjoyment I get from a smooth Kb+M setup and sharper graphics.

And don't get me wrong here because I know Fps games can work absolutely fine on a pad when designed to do so, its just a personal preference of mine when given the choice to pick Kb+M. Theres also an element of if you've got it flaunt it here because if you have the spec you can (and should) push these titles a little bit further than on the consoles.

Not at all, this is something I've been saying for months about the advantages of the Xbox360 pad over a M&K in the debates that have happened. It's easier with a mouse & keyboard, but I enjoy using a pad, which isn't actually harder, just different.

Depends..

I think if someone is coming from the PC (used to playing PC fps games) to the PS3 and decides to buy Unreal Tournament 3 on the ps3 because they have a HDTV and *realize* that they can still use a keyboard and mouse with the game dont you think they will indeed do that?

Its the exact situation im in.

So what if most ps3 owners are using the controller? For some ps3 and x360 owners they claim that using the controller is just as good as using keyb and mouse for FPS (admittedly i dont agree but thats them)



Online there is *always* challenge :p

no offence but if COD4 was mouse n keyb compatible on ps3 then i'd definately get that for ps3 even.. if my computer was a quadcore dual 8800GTX monster with 24" monitor.

Its the bigger screen and the DD surround sound that does it for me. It seems to be one of those games which you really get the immersion and benefit from, by playing on a hdtv with 5.1 sound.
 
well thanks for the suggestions and because of that i now think i will get cod 4 and ut3 on pc will the graphics be as good though? as ive yet to test my pc out even though had it for approx 4 months only ever had counter strike source and doom 3....
