I'm sure the percentages are making the statistics more favourable to PS3. It could be argued that 360 has 57 70%+ exclusive games compared to the PS3s 39.

Not that I am defending Xbox or damming PS3 just saying them statistics can be manipulated both ways ;)
 
That's a relatively interesting thing to read. I didn't realise quite the amount of exclusives the Xbox has.

I have had both consoles, the 360 from the start and bought a PS3 about a year ago. I sold the PS3 after about 2 months and never ever regretted it.
 
Threads like this shouldn't be allowed, for starters he just dropped a link and left it without any indication of the direction he wants the discussion to take.

So in the 80+ category the xbox has 29 exclusives and the playstation 26? Surely all this proves is that you need both consoles if you want them all? :p

pretty much.

one console has 29 exclusives worth playing, and one 26

I think most diehard gamers are now comming round to the fact you can own both for not much more than £400, the price of the PS3 on launch.
 
The thing that kills it for me is that many of those 114 xbox 360 exclusives are out of PC where as the PS3 exclusives are exclusive. I keep trying to temp myself into buying an Xbox 360 but when I take away its games that I can already play on my PC or PS3, I arn't left with much. Alan Wake and Forza 3 are the only ones that come to mind. Probably a couple more. If I did get one and then Alan Wake was announced for the PC, I wouldn't be too happy.

With regards to the picture in the opening post. As far as i'm concerned. it could be

Exclusive Releases- Xbox 360: 1000 PS3: 10
Meta average- Xbox 360: 78% PS3: 68%

And it wouldnt change my mind atall in saying, the exclusives I like the most are amongst those 10 on PS3 :p
