PS3 problems...?

I never got asked for my receipt, they just went straight away and charged me £145 to replace my console with a refurb. 11th of march they are bringing it and I swap it at the door for my one, with my game stuck inside, which will take 6 weeks to get back to me... *sigh* Tried to explain to them the problem wasnt brought about by me (yellow light, 3 beeps, wont switch back on) but they said thats what the technical warranty covers and mines had ran out, apparently they had extended release consoles warranty by 6 months or something but I got mine october 07, warranty out by 3 months :( Gutting price to pay at this moment in time aswell

if you havent paid it yet then ring em up and cancel say its started working again. then take out the continuous play insurance for a fiver and send it to them. They will swap it over for you within 2 working days and you can cancel the insurance after a month, and just take it again in future if needed. save yourself 140 quid
