Anyone else having issues with the new firmware? I've just got stuck on the message screen for the third time meaning I have to turn off the console which results in a 3 beep restart.

Not a thing on my 80gb. It does sound similar to some of the random freezes I used to get on my 60gb though... I managed to sell that after getting the ylod...

I've had issues were the signal over HDMI.

What SKU have you got ?, My slim froze up on the XMB a couple time on 3.00 but since updating to 3.01 I hasn't done it again touch wood.

Only with the (known) freezing issue with Uncharted so far. Hope it stays that way.

I had that with a firmware update on my first PS3.... Firmware 2.4 if I remember....
It eventually bricked my PS3. I tried reformats, trying firmware update again, but eventually I gave up and rang playstation careline and I got a replacement...
It would beep three times and reboot when attempting to load the new firmware, never did fix it, as said got a replacement...

Had a few instances where I've tried to shut it down from the XMB and it's given me a 3 beep error before finally shutting down.
Not noticed it since 3.0.1.
