Does anyone elses PS3 freeze when browsing the internet with more than 1 window open? e..g if im on youtube sometimes the ps3 will just hang and i have to do a hard reset.

Something else unusual is that when it happened again just earlier - when i switched the ps3 back on it went into display setup or something asking if i wanted HDMI for sound and video etc. I do change the hdmi cable with the 360 a lot (sometimes putting it in different HDMI slot) Is my ps3 about to die? what lights should i look out for RED im guessing? Guess i should also do a backup of my game saves (dont need to bother with game data stuff right?)
 
i sometimes get the "we have detected hdmi input" screen although i never ever touch the hdmi cable, not sure why i get that either :/
 
Some web pages with certain pop ups can freeze the browser.
Quite normal that.

As for the display setup displaying when turning it on, more than likely its because you press down the power button for to long when switching it off.
 
ohh yeah somtimes the wireless controller will just switch itself off for no apparent reason - usually at the worst time as well. Is there a weird button combination that switches it off or smt?

That or the controller will refuse to hold its charge - i hold down on the PS button and the lights just keep on blinking even though its fully charged so i end up having to go wired with the stupid thing. It feels sooo easy to snap in two....i have resisted temptation so far..
