Over there...
Might be offering nothing new here, but i saw some piccies posted on another forum and i was pretty impressed, so thought i'd share. Resistance fall of man - quite keen to be honest (he also said he enjoyed the game a load, especially the multiplayer - which surprised me as in these forums i'd read nothing but gloom about it.

lol, was only jesting, does look good from them screenies but heard from others that have played it that its just basically another fps and takes awhile to get going and has iffy aiming, but saying that its probably one of the only games that looks interesting at launch (although not much really to choose from the launch lineup) and doesn't warrent £425 to go and get one over here whenever it gets launched, and probably nothing that the 360 couldn't do either. Its a shame console have to have such exclusive's really as its only the developers who lose money in the end targeting such a small hardcore release early adopters, esp on a title such as this where some time and effort seems to have gone into it.

Resistance fall of man is quite impressive for a 1st Gen title. Probably more impressive than any 1st gen 360 title, especially on a console that’s harder to program. But they did have extra development time due to delay of console.

I think you would need to compare both in motion before saying that GOW is better. It is easy to win the battle of the static screenshots.

Which Resistance doesn't win? :p ;)

The 3rd pic looks really nice. Overall I am quite impressed since I have't seen any decent screenies of this before. Still not quite GOW nice, but for a release title it is stunning and hopefully shows more of what's to come on the PS3.

We are comparing screen shots, as in the title. Whats wrong with that?

I really like the style of Resistance. I loved Return to Castle Wolfy as it mixed WWII themes with aliens to give some more variety. The screen shots do look nice, the third one does it for me.

The framerate. It is easy to have highly complex detailed static screenshots if your game runs at a low framerate.

Doesnt look bad

I very much doubt this game is as good looking as GOW, well in fact ive yet to read a serious game website that has stated such.

If comparing X360 - PS3 is your thing then check out the 1up site as they have compared several games already including EA titles and COD3.

So far theirs very little difference and RR7 aparently has 1080 but has got textures that dont look as good as the X360 version so its a case of trading resolution for detail.

All i can say is that the lads at 1up are not over impressed with the PS3 thus far particulary because of Sony's pre release hype of just how powerful the PS3 would be and that the next gen didint start untill they arrived.

They agree that for an extra $200 so far your not getting any better looking games.
