/\/\/\ Agreed... and this is a statement from a guy who makes it so that if you lose your internet connection then you can't play any of the games you have bought from them!!!mmj_uk said:Gabe is a total nerd he probably has Bill Gates posters plastered all over his wall.
I agree PS3 has been a disaster in terms of mass manufacturing, but it's here now so why the **** would they scrap it and start again? what a fanboy lol.

I agree, although I think a lot of the PS2's sales figures may be made up by people who had the original and then upgraded to the slimline at a later date - not a vast amount by any means but still a fair percentage.Syph said:I completely disagree with everything he's said there. I'm in the 'the PS2 has sold so much, that if only half of PS2 owners buy into PS3 it will have done well' camp. I just cannot see the PS3 failing, even with a high price tag. Things, I'm sure, will pick up for it. I know a lot of people waiting for a PS3, even though the 360 is such good VFM.
I can't see the Wii outselling the 360 this year either - well, surpassing it's total sales figure.

The DS was seen as a novelty by exactly the same people who are saying it about the Wii, yet the DS is still going extemely strong over 2 years after release with no signs of slowdown so may aswell assume that it will do well for atleast another year so that'd be over 3 years of it doing well which is over half a consoles expected lifespan.
As long as Nintendo keep producing strong first party games then the Wii will do very well
