PS3 Starter Pack is Available......... ?

Only game out for PS3 this year that remotely interests me is Heavenly Sword and after seeing more in-game footage of that I'm not as fussed anymore.

Getting UT3 for PC so really I have no interest in PS3 this year, and it turns out MGS is a 2008 title also so yep, no interest.

Glad I got rid of my PS3 and upgraded the PC tbh.

for £399. Personally I think this is the better deal trade in click and Genji (best thing to do with it!) and you've nearly go another game. RFOM uses a second controller for Co-op and split screen vs, but its not needed for anything else, plus rumble controllers look like they will be coming in September so best to wait to get another one then (if you can). I guess if you dont have a HD TV with HDMI the cable is pointless though

What bundle of AAA titles are you talking about, I can only think of two possible AAA titles and having played neither of them how exactly are they already classed as AAA?

I can only assume some of you have actually played all these games before their release and immediately know that their AAA titles...

i think it's the companies that class these titles as AAA.

i was searching for triple a and found a list from some guy on another forum about what he considers the upcoming triple a titles on the 360.

im pretty sure some of these won't be out for ages but it's a pretty good list of games in anyone book.

They sound pretty poor to me, only one that would be of interest in GOW2 and I can't see that coming anytime soon. As I said it's all a matter of opinion tbh, but I wouldn't start saying games are AAA until I'd played them..

I would put a lot of money on them being AAA games, both sales and reviews wise. With only Fable (too soon to tell) and maybe Assasins Creed being the question marks.

All but 2 of those games are due this year. Mass Effect is from the guys who did Kotor which was game of the year on many places when it was released.

All of them have potential but we will just have to wait and see!

No I havent played them but by AAA I mean games which outperform the others in terms of opinions and sales in the genre. Halo 3 will probably be the best FPS this year, Mass Effect will probably be the best RPG, PGR4 will probably be the best driving game etc.

There is about a dozen very hyped titles coming out, tons of games which appeal to different people.

I somehow think you wouldn't say that if they were all coming on PS3.

Pretty funny how you said GTA4 and Assassins Creed sound poor, they are both coming on PS3, surely not poor?! :eek:

Oh and Bioshock will probably be the best FPS game out this year single player wise.

I'm sure if these people have visited this forum just once in the past year they've already seen that said by some of you atleast 50 times.

Just let them buy what they want. They've obviously seen Xbox 360s being sold for a lot cheeper than PS3s, but they want a PS3. So hush up and let them.

seems they've officially started the offers now with many adverts in todays papers although some vary slighty seems to be generally

extras
1 x controller
2 games from choice of 4/5

some offering blu-ray's too or instead

I got fed up waiting and bought a used one now with a 4 games and 2 blu-rays for a lot cheaper than this too

In the Indian food place its 425 with VF5,RFOM, RR7 and extra controller, at least the've included a game that you want the extra controller for! Does seem a bit silly that they still offer the PS3 with only 1 game for the same price though.

I've been browsing ebay for a couple of weeks seen these going for around £350+ but these deals I would imagine, will now start to effect the 2nd hand prices.
