What do you guys use for trigger extensions on the L2 and R2 buttons? I've been through quite a few Gioteck Real Triggers and while they are spot on, they tend to split at the top and then fall off in your hands.

Any suggestions?

I have only ever used a pair that came with a magazine years back (unbranded) and they are still going strong !

Bit silly but did you not grow up with the PlayStation? I don't need the rubber triggers extensions because i've used the controller for donkeys.

Yeah but then the triggers on the PS3 dual-shocks are different to the previous incarnations.

Still, too many people have been spoilt by the 360 controller.

Personally I can't really recommend any thing else other than the Giotech ones.

When I had my PS3 I did the same. Got a pair with PSW magazine and they were still working when I sold my PS3 :D Possibly the best free gift i've ever got from a magazine.

The PS3 analogue triggers are awful for racing games as your fingers slip off them.

I have been through 3 sets of the Gioteck ones. Sure there only a couple of quid, but its getting annoying that they split and fall off.

Well I went for yet another set of the Gioteck ones and it looks like they have changed them. They are thicker and chunkier and look to be reinforced around the bit that kept splitting, so hopefully these should last.

Dont have any issues as they are tbh, never had triggers.

I tried the Gioteck ones because they were so cheap and everyone raved about them, I didn't really see the point of them though. I find the PS3 controller perfectly useable, but if I had to complain about something it'd be the sponginess and almost elastic feel of the way the triggers work, the Gioteck triggers don't do anything to alleviate that problem, in fact I think they made it worse and added even more travel in the triggers. All they seem to do is add a curved surface which I guess will help with the people who find their fingers slipping off the standard triggers but if you don't have that problem and are looking for something that will make the trigger action feel more like a proper trigger then they're a waste of money.

The trigger action is crap on the PS3 controller, I agree. But my problem was my finger slipping off the bottom of the trigger which the clip ons fix fine.
