Hi all,

Just bought myself a PS3 last night and have some slight issues getting audio out from HDMI.

I have a JVC-LT32DS6BJ (JVC MSIS service document) which has a HDMI input on it. It's fairly old, I think HDMI 1.1?

So i've plugged my my PS3 into my HDMI port on my TV and then my TV outputs to my AMP via "AUDIO OUT" using a RCA cable, but get nothing..

If I turn the volume up on my TV there is sound coming out, but not via my amp....

There are some settings for the HDMI port on the TV interface for audio, of either "AUTO/ANALOGUE/DIGITIAL". I've tried them all and nothing seems to work.. ?

In the meantime I've managed to connect the ps3 audio directly into the amp via component.... (but PS3 only outputs 2CH via component)

Any ideas on how to get the HDMI working?

I have my PS3 connected to the HDMI in on the amp and another HDMI cable then runs to the tv, hence it all goes through my amp to the tv rather than vice versa
