As i'm selling my pc i'll still need something to bash every now and again

it's an old urguement but which is the one to go for now days

and have microsoft really fix the ring of death problem ???

plus what do you nee dto buy to get straight online as it seems there are a lot of hidden costs with the xbox
 
Buy both and save us the pain and suffering of this thread.


Bottom line is they're both great consoles.

Get either what the majority of your friends have, or look at the exclusive games and buy whichever has the line up you want to play most.
 
Their is no better one, Only thing you could say for PS3 now is if compared to 360 Elite which is at £200 and PS3 at £250 PS3 gives you more for your money.

Regarding games exclusives etc its all down to what YOU prefer.

Considering both 360 Elite and PS3 have dropped in price this last week now is a good time to get either.

Have Microsoft fixed the red ring problem ? Not yet.

To go online you will need a Gold subscription (although you get 1 month free with any new 360 so not an immediate concern).
You MAY need a wireless adaptor, depending on how you connect to the internet.

In theory you get a Network Cable and 1 month free so for month 1 it costs nothing to get online. After that it will cost you.
