PS3 where has iplayer etc gone?

hi recently had to update the PS3, just noticed there is no iplayer etc.

Could have sworn there was one on the ps3 some months ago?

I have the latest version (just checked)

anyone shed some light on this for me.

Try going into the store or PS Home and back out, came straight up for me

Mine took some right faffing to get to appear, even after logging in and out of various accounts.

I initially found that the channels thing disappeared unless you downloaded one of the services straight away too.

mine just suddenly appeared after a few days , unless i just missed it as its under a tab called tv services i think ?

The new iplayer is superb! I just watch all BBC through that in HD now and the UI is much faster than before.

I get buffer issues whilst watching in HD on VM 50meg...

I'm on Sky Broadband and streams perfectly....I have never regarded my connection as fast either....

Caught up on all 3 dragon den's epsidoes and watched that Oceans Giants nature documentary in HD very impressive!

vanished again, just when i need to use iPlayer it is not on my menus, nothing., no tv/services tab.

Why? my ps3 is updated to latest version etc.

Loading up Playstation Home usually fixes this problem, I can't give you the answer as to why you keep getting the issue, but try loading up Playstation Home and take it from there.

I had this problem last night and just installed the vidzone app from the playstation store. that added the tv menu with iPlayer etc.
