Might need a few extra wheels? Perhaps a transport helicopter for safety.

Not sure if anyone knows that yet. It's entirely plausable to say that it has and that is what makes the console big in size.

Not really fair then to say it's the biggest consoles. I don't lug my 360 around but have friends who take it form place to place with them and the most annoying thing I hear is the seperate psu.

So regardless of how good it is to play games on, you wouldn't get it because of its looks? When you play games do you sit looking at the console or at the TV screen?

LOL. Tell them to get a DS! Not sure lugging your Xbox around all the time is very beneficial to it. I hate even touching mine. I feel the dread at hitting the open tray button in case it all packs up. LOL.

Wow didnt know the PS3 was that big, still i've always thought it was a cross between a bread bin and one of those george forman grills.

Also i wonder how many people are going to be mounting their wiis in a cd rom bay of their computer case? or is that too geekish? hehe

The argument to justify blu ray and the price has been it's not a games machine, it's an entertainment system. If that's the case aesthetics do play an important role.

"It's too expensive and you don't need blu-ray to play games"
"But it's not a games machine! it's a true next gen entertainment system"
"But it's ugly and too big, my mrs wont want that in the lounge!"
"But it's a games machine, it doesn't matter what it looks like!"

Being infra red control it can be hidden away cant it - so thats half the arguements gone to start with

also look at the major reduction in size between the original PS2 and the slimline version - it must have shrunk by 50% in most directions, now think about the slimline PS3 in a years time or so.............

If it performs well it will sell well, if it doesnt it wont

Early indications will start in 6 -9 months time until then all this is drivel

Point out exactly where i suggested i would not get a PS3 due to it's looks.......

If i get a PS3 it will be because it offers me something above and beyond what my 360 can do.....Simple as that, bottom line is it's still a ugly looking console.....Doesn't mean i won't get it.....My opinion of course!

The Wii looks tiny in comparison - that's just crazy!

Oh and to the poster that said you can hide the PS£ away because it's got infra-red - try hiding your dvd player away and then try using the remote - you'll still need a straight line of site - which means you'll see you're new anvil the whole time.
