PS3 will overtake 360 by summer

I didn't think there were a shortage of 360's =/

definitely a shortage for the Wii/DS though.
 
Yeah there have been reports of shortages of certain models ( elite and premium ) since mid - to late december.


Many retailers have still not had a satisfactory response to this issue from MS.

Does seem strange its not like the 360 has been flying off the shelves worldwide, well not any more than usual. One thing could be that the Falcon 360's are not being built in as many factories as the old ones, or they are just using up stock for replacing so many dead 360 rather than repairing them for turn around times? Just seems strange for a console that hasnt had supply issues since a couple of months after launch, has so now?

They get through more 360's in the states due to the 3 month standard warranty ;)

There must have been thousands of people that binned them in the states before the warranty extension.

I think they are at such a cheap price in the states now that the demand has increased.
 
Seems that the playstation family of consoles outsold the 360 and wii put together.

Seems that having an almost 8 year console and a portable with supposedly no games that both sell at profit is a good thing.

Also the psp selling as much as the 360 is pretty amazing.
 
It's not really surprising. It was the same bunch of people who waited for the Playstation 2 that cause the best console ever to go under :*(.
