Next to the ketchup...
Evening guys, been a while since I've touched a console, eife treated me to a ps4 today :)

Got it home after 7 hours stuck on the M25 (never visiting family again)

Started the console up, got the controller paired up, worked for about 30 seconds and disconnected. Put it down to battery probably being flat, left it on to charge.

Now the controller just disconnects at random, could work for 2 minutes, normally lasts about 20 seconds. Did a bit of google searching, tried resetting controller and console, nothing helps? Any advice guys? Or do i just take it back to argos tomorrow and go mental? :)

Yeah fully charged. I think its something in my living room. Moved it into the spare room and played a good 10 minutes with no issues. Popped the controller down in a cpuple of places round the house with no issues.

Put it down near the coffee table, disconnected... Hmm massive cast iron glass topped coffee table be the problem?

If it works elsewhere apart from the coffee table then that's a good bet.

After a bit of a play around this morning it just seems to he had when the PS4 is on the tv unit next to the amp, and when the controller is put down near the table.

I tried the ps4 in the same room but on my PC monitor, it went off once near the coffee table but fine after that! Goong to have a test turning electricals off in the living room :)
