PS5 controller on PC

Hi all

I've been looking to get some sort of adapter for my pc so I can use my PS5 Controller, any recommendations please

You don't need an adapter, just a usb cable.

That's what I've been using for a number of years anyway.
 
Ahhh ok my bad, thought it was Bluetooth :p
You can also use Bluetooth, for a wireless connection. Any of those cheap USB Bluetooth Adaptors would work, I have some U-Green one on my desktop, to use my PS5 dualsense on it.

Not done it for over a year, but back then I always used the below application to turn off the gamepad lights and some other tweaks that the built in windows drivers don't support.

You won't get full polling rates using a USB BT adapter, it will be really limited, even as low as 31Hz for a generic cheap chipped BT adapter, to get 500Hz+ you need a proper BT adapter like one of those PCIe ones.

You don't need DS4 to work though as many games now natively support DualSense, so just a USB cable is needed to get the best out of it.

Edit* Quick google reveals something like this will give wireless connectivity for DualSense on PC, though no mention of polling rate, tempted to buy one to test myself and confirm:
