pseudo brief

Sounds like management speak to me, some jargon to make what they are about to say sound more intelligent.

If the meaning is literal it just means not brief.

isnt it some member of ocuk forums who puts a  at the end of every post???

Need more context to make it anything other than a rudimentary guess

ps3ud0

Was in a bog standrad meeting discussing a website requirements. The marketing guy ended the meetings by saying he'll get back to us with a pseudo brief in preparation for the next meeting.

To me thats nothing more than a quickly put together design brief - just nothing pretty or confirmed to be 100% complete or wholly correct. Just something to get the ball rolling...

EDIT: Its a mareting guy - its definitely the above then, those guys are normally idiots...

Ok cool. I guess if someone called ps3ud0 doesn't know what it means then no one will :)

It's what I'd guess for that although I'd struggle not to laugh if someone used the phrase "pseudo brief" in a meeting that I was in. Maybe next time it would be worth shouting out "bingo" then explaining you were playing management buzzword bingo and that nonsense just completed your card.
