PSN Connection Problem

Hi im getting a problem when i try to download updates to games on my PS3 system. I can login to PSN but i cannot download updates and when i try connection test all goes fine then it says PSN: Failed. Help would be appreciated.

Do you auto login to the PSN? Tried deleting your user and pass, retyping them and then signing in?

Do you use a router? If so then try resetting the software through the router configuration page, not by turning off at the plug. I don't know if it'd make much difference but have you got UPnP enabled? If not then try it, if so then disable it in your router config.

Also, it might be worth setting up a DMZ on your PS3 if you haven't already. Should be perfectly safe if you assign your PS3 an IP address and only open all ports to and from that particular IP. There's loads of guides on Google for setting up a DMZ on your PS3.
 
Okie Dokie. Hmmm The name thing dont work and i enabled upnp but still nothing. I am only 12 and i dont have a clue what your on about
