PSN Offer - MAG

Only DLC packs needed are the two you pay for that are also on special offer, Interdiction and Escalation.

Sure it adds to the cost, but I bought them in the end and well worth it as they are fun modes and also an extra 40% bonus for the Multiqueue system.

The free packs are already included in the PSN download version since it's also the latest patched version.
 
Is everyone going to jump ship once the new BF and COD games appear? Is the MAG community still alive and kicking? Are there regularly 256 players on the maps at each round? Do such large teams cause lagfests at all?

I have had the game since December, I have never experienced lagg never have issue finding games, about jumping ship this game was realised before Bad company 2 and Black ops still tones of people playing it.

Been out for year now and there still patching it and tweaking things, I don't think a new mag will be out for while as Zipper has just made soocom 4.

This game has plenty of people playing at all times during the day. Hell there's even a lot of Japanese players during stupid O'clock times.

Domination games (The 256-player mode) are always hectic with plenty of players. It's all split up into tactical sections anyway, which you can wander off to, so the action is always ongoing.
 
The community is still solid http://magleaderboards.com/ this site shows numbers who have played and its at over 100k this week... plenty to keep the servers busy and games full.

Ive also barely had any lag, the latest patch made it better for some who did have problems and as mentioned Zipper have supported the game up to this point but are currently working on SOCOM4 although MAG is likely to get further support.

DLCs? Both worth getting, Escalation I believe is more popular of the 2 as its all 3 armies vs each other at the same time. Though interdiction is fun, especially if you like the APCs as I think you get about 4 per side :D

I think I'm going to pass on MAG. I don't want to but I rarely have enough time to play BF:BC2 except when the missus is on night shifts n I manage to drop kick the lil un to bed in the evenings so I shall just have to concentrate on BC2 and enjoy it as best I can. To all you MAGers - I hope you enjoy it :)

ill add you tonight, im in Valor and in a clan, im sure you can run with us in a group... or even we can run together on some maps.

im a late owl though, dont usually login until 10pm and play on to 3am at the lates.
