PSN rant!

In terms of the PSOne games, they only put up what the publishers ask/pay them to and currently it seems that only Disney are interested in the EU market.
Mike Kebby on the Sony EU blog gets it in the ear every update about PSOne games, but it's not Sony who make the decisions about the PSOne games to be uploaded, it's Konami, Capcom, [insert software house], etc...
The argument against them is legitimate in regards to PSN games and DLC, but for PSOne games, it's out of their hands.
I wouldn't say it's entirely out of there hands, they can easily try and promote the idea to the game makers and do something other than put up a service and then sit back and hope. I'm not saying they even have to give out money but a little negotiating and possible leniance on the cost of putting them up would promote it a lot. But they're not trying to promote it and that's evident unfortunately. I do agree though it's for the most part not there fault entirely as it's the devs themselves that should do it.

Polyphony Digital have just spunked $60,000,000 making a game that is still in development and probably on course to accrue further expenditure, surely they'd want to get a little money back from putting Gran Turismo 1 & 2 up on the PSN. They are a very close partner with Sony and I don't really see the massive problem in getting both of those up on the PSN. They are both games that were massive sellers and the tech is already there to put PS1 games up on the PSN so where's the excuse there?
