PSN vs Xbox Live

They both let you play games online with other people. I dont get why there "needs" to be a better one. Its all i use them for and couldnt care less about extra features.

because one costs £26-£30 odd quid per year and the other doesn't cost a penny

If you don't have any gamer friends then PSN is clearly better as you don't have to pay for the service.

360 goes for opposite that, personally I find the service a total rip off even if it is cheap they are more or less charging you a fee to use your own internet connection to play multiplayer games.

Psn + has the right idea as you actually get something for the money.

We've had this discussion millions of times though. People either don't take it seriously at all or just deride you for it. You must be crazy if you think we have never ever tread ground on this subject before.

It's like, yeah yeah here we go, time to go through the motions again...
 
i like psn better, it's free and well, i have more friends on it these days, all my friends are giving up on their xbox these days (1 of my mates is on his 13th xbox and 3rd ps3 lol)
 
You'd think he'd get the hint after the 5th or 6th Xbox... :p

Although 13 Xboxes and 3 PS3s just sounds like he treats them like ****.

Wiis online is far the best - I can choose who to play with exclusively - its awesome!?!

coughs you should know that having a Wii - or do you not know how to use it online?!? I found it hard at first, but after a while its just awesome.

4 player Mario using well-used age-old mechanics - need I say more

Live is better but PSN is free

Got friends on Live? Then stick to Live
Don't mind playing with randoms online? Then play on PSN

I only have PS3 but quite readily recognise that Live is the better implementation.
 
I prefer both :p

Xbox live has more features but the £40 a year is a big negative,

PSN isn't that great to use but it works and is free,

Both serve their purposes
