PSP Go! - What happens to all my old games?

I think £200 is reasonable, especially when you look at how much people spend on Apple branded products.
But Steve Jobs uses black magic, Apple are apparently not part of the same reality or something.

The main problem I have with the price is that you're paying for LESS, no UMD drive, smaller screen, not to mention does not take MS PRO DUOs meaning you have to buy new memory cards...

Basically the only positives to the PSP Go is that it's smaller and has 16gb of inbuilt memory (I will ignore the Bluetooth because a company that makes millions of mobile phones bluetooth components will cost pennies), not worth a ~£100 premium imo, it's more than double the cost of a PSP 2000!

The Price of the PSP go is also down to the stores selling it, unlike other games consoles and the PSP 3K, stores will not get any money from software sales. The only reason they will stock the PSP go is that they will make a larger profit of each one sold compared to any other consoles, this means the price for the go has to much larger than a normal PSP to cover the loss of software sales. There is talk that the EU PSN cards will arrive in october time, but im not sure how much if any money stores make from them as you pay £20 for £20 worth of credit.
Going back on topic one other revenue stream for the shops that may help with the loss of software sales is to charge a small fee to "trade" in your old games on UMD and they have a device to rip the file and put it on the PSP/Mem stick. I expect it wil be tied to the serial number of the PSP so it will only work with one machine, not great if you have several.

I'm considering one, depending on price and the path Sony take with their UMD "support".

Put it this way - I won't be rebuying all my games, or paying some stupid fee to get them bound to my PSN account.

I'll just get a PSP-3000 if that happens (currenty own a launch day model PSP-1000).

I can't see any point down grading my 3000 to the PSP Go. I mean where does my Go Cam go on this PSP Go. I say just get a preowned 16gb memory card for you current PSPs.
